And in the BMOEASY spirit of wasting your time...
Sign in so that we can all visit you
It's a little ditty that goes something like this. You tell us in the comments who you are, where you live, what you do, where you've been, or where you are going (unless you are being conned at BloggerCon). Or, just say hello.
Leave your graffiti and have a great weekend.

Hi, I'm Gary Williams, an unemployed programmer,
former newspaperman and sometime pizza cook. Right now I'm in
upstate New York (the hills outside of Binghamton) but,
since there aren't any jobs here and a friend
of mine suggested I go back to Calfornia and
help her move into her new house,
I think I may move back to the Bay Area
sometime this month.
(I'll let you know, meg, if this works out.)
I like the stuff meg teaches us, and
I steal some of it and fiddle with
it (in true programmer style).
As a consequence, sometimes meg steals it back! (Yay, meg!)
sarchi
I'm presently timing-out with my server
but I go any-where do anything, and
go absolutely mad about MD tricks.
Are trying to sort a comments heavy weight.
Can't for the life of me stand-up-and sprout-comedy,
probably shy. I have bills to pay and can't get
a desk job with a classy broad?
UK garden of England
Otto
here, from mid-Michigan!
I spend way too much time on the computer;
latest obsession - blinkie calendars.
I'm a secretary at a church.
Can't get rich there but I love my job!
I've found so many cool things here! Thanks Meg!!
loowho
Hi I'm Cindy. I hope it's not too
late to join the party! I'm from
Toronto, Canada. I'm unemployed,
and am taking one course at a
seminary. I like to blog,
but have been lazy lately,
because I've been dabbling in a new interest - magic.
Justin as swimPC
Hi, I'm Justin and I just graduated
from Rochester Institute of Technology with
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology.
Right now, I'm an independent IT contractor
for three deaf companies at the same building
here in Rochester. Also, I'm seeking a
permanent IT position as well. If you know
anybody who needs an IT position, let me know!!!
I need a job!!! I'm deaf and involved with an
deaf organization that provides many types of
fun events, such as recreation, for the deaf,
hard of hearing and hearing people where there
are opportunities for them to socialize.
Kathryn
Hello, I'm Kathryn. I'm a professional counselor
who is trying to build a private practice in
Austin, TX.
I used to keep a blog called The Hestia Chronicles, but
had to retire it because my name was too associated
with the personal nature of that blog, making it
incompatible with starting a therapy practice.
I did start up another personal blog with a
pseudonym, though.
I tend to be a homebody, though I
went up to my hometown (Syracuse, NY)
in June for my 40th birthday,
to visit my folks.
I'll be returning for Christmas.
I'll be attending something like
BloggerCon, only it's called the
Webwriters Convention, or JournalCon, and it's
being hosted in Austin!

Frank Paynter
Hi!
My name is Frank!
I'll be your curmudgeon today.
I'm fortunate enough to have some
paying work right now, and I spent
some of the money to attend
BloggerCon. Maybe some of the
brilliant young people there will
need a curmudgeon to help them
with an implementation project
some day!
Maybe I will be that curmudgeon!
They announced the MacArthur genius
grants today and I didn't get one.
Again.

Chicagoan living in southern Wisconsin Great Lakes country
where cheese is king and everything's better
when you've slathered it with butter.
